This exclusive event brings together 128 Fantasy Premier League managers representing 32 nations, with four managers assigned to each nation, competing for ultimate national glory.
Tournament Overview
The FPL Nepal World Cup 2026 follows a structured, football-style format inspired by the FIFA World Cup.
The tournament begins with a Group Stage, followed by Knockout Rounds, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, a Third-Place Playoff, and the Final.
Each participating nation will compete against other nations in their group, with performances determined by the collective Fantasy Premier League scores of their assigned managers.
Team Composition
-
Total Managers: 128
-
Total Nations: 32
-
Managers per Nation: 4
Each nation’s total Gameweek score is calculated as the sum of all four managers’ individual Gameweek points.
This total is used to determine the outcome of each head-to-head fixture against another nation.
Scoring System
Each fixture in the group stage is based on total combined points of the four managers from each nation.
Results are determined as follows:
-
Win: 3 points
-
Draw: 1 point
-
Loss: 0 points
Standings will update automatically after each Gameweek, reflecting wins, draws, losses, total points, and goal differences (if applicable).
Group Stage Format
-
The 32 nations will be divided into 8 groups, each containing 4 nations.
-
Each nation will face the other three nations in their group once during the group stage.
-
The top two nations from each group, based on total points, will advance to the knockout phase.
-
In the event of a tie in points, standard tiebreakers such as total GW points or head-to-head results will determine ranking.
Knockout Phase
After the group stage, the top 16 nations progress to the Knockout Rounds.
The format is as follows:
-
Round of 16
-
Quarterfinals
-
Semifinals
-
Third Place Match
-
Final
From this stage onward, each fixture is a direct elimination. The nation with the higher total Gameweek score advances to the next round. If a tie occurs, pre-defined tie-breaking criteria will apply to decide the winner.
